My office is a small solo practice so you will always be dealing directly with me. I try to be as fair as possible in my pricing. I primarily practice in Cocke and Hamblen Counties and I have worked in those counties since I became licensed in 2018. I am more than happy to meet you in either of those counties for a consultation.
The main area of my practice is Juvenile Law. I have always had a passion for helping people. Working with children and parents who are going through a difficult time in their lives, and helping them overcome this adversity, is something I am very dedicated to.
I attended the University of Central Florida for my undergraduate degree, and Lincoln Memorial University, Duncan School of Law, for my law degree. Between undergraduate and law school, I also earned my Master's degree in Criminal Justice. My first employment in the legal field was immediately following undergrad. I worked as a legal assistant for the Orange County Florida Public Defender's Office in the felony and capital crimes division. This is where I first fell in love with the practice of law. After that, I worked for over a decade in the field of banking, before deciding to return to school and complete my dream of earning a law degree.
I have called East Tennessee home since 2006. I love this area and cannot imagine ever living elsewhere. My husband, Bill, is an East Tennessee native and he has contributed greatly to my love of Tennessee. We have have two sons who were adopted from foster care as teenagers. We reside in Sevier County where we have a hobby farm. My passions outside of the law include working with animals, in particular older and special needs animals. While dogs have always been by first love, we also have four rescue horses, goats, a potbelly pig, and a flock of various poultry. I love all things about nature and the outdoors. I pride myself on being approachable and down to earth.
